1971

I wondered how Meirion Jones might react to the contents of outreach. My friends on twitter alerted me to the fact that he was NOT happy, not happy at all ! So much so that he has now dug a very big hole for himself by claiming that, contrary to all the evidence, he can place Jimmy at Duncroft in 1971 !
Note, the use of the word 'we' ! Who knows what he means, who cares ? The point is, he now has to produce this 'pic' because if he doesn't he's a liar pure and simple.
Last month, Jones like his witless, shitless, witnesses, was not sure whether it was 1970 or 1971.
Meanwhile, his £500 mate was adding to his ever expanding CV as someone who can put the dead on trial, a 'full trial' at that . I'm NOT making this up.
Need I go on ? Now guys and gals, I thought I'd end the week on a light note. These two idiots will get the justice they deserve, regardless who their mates are !
Any compo claims from 1970/1971 perchance ?
Jones didn't ask his aunt anything about Jimmy's visits to Duncroft. I'm sure she or the other 'suspect' he left at the mercy of the Savile Police will have something to say about this 'pic' in the unlikely event he decides to produce it !
Freedom come freedom go, tells me yes and then she tells me no. Freedom never stays long, freedom moving along'
Love that song ! Happy May day folks !

  1. "Toni's" picture was said by the media to be from 1972.

What is moor confusing is why Mei has no proof of his own. After all, he says HE saw Jimmy there from 1970, never mind 1971. We know Mei was at Duncroft back in the mid-60's because Anna Raccoon recovered a memory of wiping his snotty nose.

"... long, long, ago, before Meirion had adopted the dark shirt and navy trousers of left-wing metro-man made good, there was another Meirion. The short trousered, snotty nosed, and snotty mannered young nephew of the head mistress of Duncroft, the school at the centre of these allegations. Surely it couldn’t be the same kid we used to baby sit in the TV lounge that was now innocently being portrayed as a fearless investigative reporter who had chanced, in later life, upon a story ‘that any journalist would want’ concerning a school called that just happened to be called Duncroft? Indeed it could! There was something distinctly fishy about this tale."

I didn't see Meirion at the school when I was there, but I left before they built the separate residence for Margaret Jones, who moved her elderly mother in with her. I think it was around then that Meirion and his nasty, jealous mother began visiting. Meirion, btw, is the son of Margaret's deceased brother, and also a headmistress of a girls' school. She disapproved of Margaret. If someone could be bothered to investigate the county records around 1966-67, the record of the building of this separate house can be established. I'm tired of all this woffle about Savile being at Duncroft before 1974. The Visitors' Book establishes when he first arrived, and Meirion was in fact present at a school event in the summer that year, and had his photo taken with Jimmy, with whom he was rather impressed, according to his aunt. Before the separate residence was built, there would've been no room for Meirion or other members of the family to stay.

Margaret Jones has it. She mentioned it once in conversation. When she found out about Meirion's involvement with this production, she bemoaned that he hadn't thought to contact her for her input. Well, of course not. He didn't need her to tick him off about what he was planning. That was the conversation where the photo at the fete came up.

Btw, wanted to clear up that it was Meirion's mother, Margaret's sister in law, who was disapproving of Margaret. No love lost with those two, and things didn't improve over some real estate situation in Wales later on.

Until that point, I got the impression that Meirion and his aunt got on quite well.

Margaret doesn't want anything more to do with this mess. She was door-stepped by the Mail on Sunday, harassed by Yewtree and Outreach, but fortunately the truth prevailed, i.e. she and the rest of the staff never heard one complaint from any girl about Jimmy Savile, because nothing inappropriate happened. She's 93. Let's leave her alone to live out the rest of her life in peace. Just because a few malcontents wanted to get their revenge and make money, doesn't mean that many more women who went to Duncroft are thankful to her assistance in putting their lives on a good path - and even some of the malcontents should be thanking her instead of lying their sorry rear-ends off in hopes of a pay-off. Disgraceful.

Fiona, btw, used to be quite the cheerleader for Duncroft. Said on FRU that she was so grateful, etc. And then ...
