Case For the Defense Day two !

We have seen many so-called timelines from the prosecution, here is my attempt to list chronologically, the background to this case as I see it. I refer you all to the Pollard Report, two sections in particular, that of ; Merion Jones' interview with the panel (exhibit 3) and Appendix 12 (exhibit 4) containing various emails from and to various employees of the BBC including its legal department.

By way of background, the Pollard Report was the result of an extensive investigation into WHY Jones' filmed Savile expose was dropped in December 2011.

From this we can deduce that Jones had seen Savile at his aunt's school. He does not say WHEN, he does not say how OLD he was. Fair enough, it was a long time ago. But, to date, we still DO NOT know for certain WHEN he saw Jimmy despite the fact that such information would be easy to confirm.

Jones tells Pollard that he began formulating his expose in July 2011

We know what Jones was doing in July 2011, it was this !

 Now let's get Jones on the stand shall we and ask him this question !

First take a look at exhibit 4 specifically emails dated 25th November to and from Jones. Let's start with the most important one - page 53

 What does Jones mean by 'off the record' and WHY is the 'head of the paedophile unit' going to 'dig out the files' ? Had he formed an association with a senior cop as a result of the July Panorama ? Moreover, why did he need an EX-Cop to do some digging if he already had links to the 'head of the paedophile unit' ?

Despite only have one 'victim', Jones is hell bent on transmission the first week of December 2011.

Jones' boss (Peter Rippon) was keen to go ahead with the story but ONLY IF it could be established that the CPS's reason for dropping the case were because he was TOO OLD and NOT because of 'insufficient' evidence.

 Bear in mind, that at this time Jones only has ONE witness on camera until he finds THIS ONE 

 
Jones' second 'victim' is actually NOT a 'victim' at all ! Not even an ALLEGED victim. 


Mr Jones when did you first make contact with Rochelle Shepperd your not even alleged, 'victim' ?

Mr Jones why did you NOT contact your aunt or any of the other staff at Duncroft before you started your 'script' ? His employer's legal team wanted to know about his aunt too in November 2011 (P73)

So, by the END on November 2011 exactly ONE month after the death of SJS we have a bunch of journalists, their bosses and their legal department who are embroiled in a story about one of the biggest and BEST LOVED entertainers ever and NOT one of them has sought any PROOF that any of the claims made have any veracity ! 

Jones' script included reference to a man whose name has since been CLEARED by the Police.

Mr Jones exactly WHEN did Mark Williams-Thomas become involved in your project ?

 
 This is what you told Pollard about what you KNEW on 4th November 2011

But Mr Jones, did you or did you not discuss your project with MWT in June or July 2011 ? You wrote this on the 30th November (P80)

But, this is what you told Pollard (see exhibit 3 P4 Meirion Jones interview)

 
Back to 29th November 2011 when it would appear that other media outlets were becoming aware of the story !

Fast forward to Dec 5th - 7th 2011. Jones says that he doesn't have confirmation from the CPS but, they should GO AHEAD ANYWAY !

 


 His boss is getting very twitchy (P103)

 
 But it is clear that Jones wants to pursue regardless of the fact that he HAS NOT CHECKED THE FACTS. And, is that a threat of things to come should the film NOT be broadcast ? (P107)

 On December 1st Jones wrote an email to himself containing his personal thoughts on the matter ! (P90 - 91)

 Is this evidence that the MSM were already conspiring against the BBC and ready to STITCH up Sir Jimmy Savile even before the Newsnight fiasco came to public attention ? (P93)

 

Mr Jones has a lot of questions to answer but this court will rest now. Next time !

Case for the Defense - Day 1

Before anyone is convicted of any criminal crime in this country, he/she has the right to a FAIR TRIAL.

 Read (d) in a court of law, the defendant has the opportunity 'to examine 'witnesses against him' . But even before any of this happens, any accusation made against another should be investigated BY THE POLICE and forwarded to the CPS who then have to do this !

 Of course the above is irrelevant if you are DEAD, or is it ?

In January 2013 the late Jimmy Savile was convicted by the Metropolitan Police of a number of serious offences against women and children despite the FACT that no examination of the allegations made against him had taken place. Here's how Commander Spindler saw things on the day Giving Victims a voice was published !

A few months before Spindler and co had abandoned any investigation into Jimmy. They were more interested in LIVING suspects !

October 28th that's just 23 days after Exposure was aired (Oct 3rd 2012) ! I refer my learned friends to item no 1 a blog post by Moor Larkin who covers the case against LIVING suspects and how it relates to the accused (Savile) here

Now, ladies and gentlemen of the jury, let us go back to the evidence upon which this TRIAL IN ABSENTIA arose !

I bring now exhibit 1 for the defense. A blog written by an ex pupil of the school attended by the complainants and published shortly after the so-called expose was aired in 2012 !

 Ms Raccoon attended the school in 1965 so what has this to do with Jimmy Savile allegedly abusing girls in the 70's ? Well, read on and on and on because this is only the start of a very long process of investigation by this blogger and those who followed her lead in the quest for the OTHER SIDE, of the OTHER SIDE of the Jimmy Savile story.

Here's the story that caught Ms Raccoon's eye ! The date has caught mine. Bloody hell, this was published TWO DAY BEFORE exposure was aired !

This was NOT the first time ex Duncrofter's had approached the press with their stories about Savile, Ms Raccoon goes on !

And, it would not be the last ! Because, there they were again in 2007, only this time the Police took their stories seriously enough to actually investigate them for TWO YEARS ! 

As in 1994, the complainants did NOT WANT to proceed with their case and so it was dropped as per the CPS CODE that applies to the LIVING. Another law that applies to the living is that of libel and defamation of character because you see, those complainants would have had to SWEAR on oath in a court of law that their evidence is the TRUTH, the whole truth etc etc ! 

However, ladies and gentlemen I digress and I have really no need to because, despite claims to the contrary, the CPS were absolutely right not to proceed against Jimmy with or without the complainants as was their duty to do so if they felt the case to be worthwhile, in the 'public interest'. WHY ? because the complainants are NOT credible witnesses a fact that has been PROVEN in the case against THE LIVING !

 My heart was in my mouth as I read this article ! Would I really get to the end without seeing some reference to Jimmy's guilt and everyone else's innocence until proven ? But I did, and you know what guys and gals ? I think we have turned a corner. I can JUST make out a faint light at the end of this tunnel of misery.

It is important that the reader understands exactly what has taken place here, so, here are the contents of the emails exchanged between the Savile family and A and E networks an American company which owns the Crime and Investigation Channel !

First, let's see who these people are. It's always helpful to know just WHO or WHAT you are up against ! Here's the wiki entry 

 The Hearst Corporation, I've heard of them, a bit bigger than the BBC I would say and much more influential but feel free to correct me if I'm wrong !

A TRUE crime !

Strewth, that's some faces on the front of Martin Fido's latest 'true crime' book ! From left to right we have; Bernard Madof, Charles Manson, the nutter with the gun in the cinema (I think) and Jeffrey Dahmer.

Who else should Fido include in his updated chronicle of baddies but Jimmy Savile !

 I'm not buying this and I'm not going to the trouble of finding out what this guy says about JS. Maybe he will TELL ME what I want to know !

I only came upon this book (published October 2013) after being advised that the Savile story features in the first episode of a new series of 'Crimes that shook Britain' on the CI (crime and investigation channel) !

Here's the outline !

 Emm, wonder who those 'family members' will be ? None of the one's who actually had anything significant to do with Jimmy that's for sure. And what 'former colleagues' will be unearthed, alongside this geezer I wonder ?

Happy days ! Thankfully, someone who KNOWS something about the YEWTREE stitch-up is squawking loud and proud ! Somewhere in Moor's blogs I remember remarking how Jim Davidson provided some levity amidst the madness unleashed in the wake of 'Exposure'. He made some joke about WHO might be next not thinking for a moment that it would be HIM !!

Thankfully, after 'the darkest year of ' his life, Jim has done what no-one else has been brave enough to do so far. He's spoken up for Jimmy and spoken out against the injustice that could so easily have destroyed him !

I can only think of one (or two) words to describe Tony Blackburn. I never liked him in the 70's when he was on first thing in the morning. Hypocrite would be one of those words !
