Maybe he's just thick ? Maybe he actually believed the shit Fiona told him. Who knows ? Not me, but here's something I know that neither him or Jones knew in November 2011 : Fiona was NOT at Duncroft in 1973 or 1974. What's more, contrary to Jones' diagram, she HAD been in touch with the cops in 2008.
I believe that Fiona (R2) is Miss G in the Levitt report. And, like Jones before her, the QC had cause to doubt 'G's testimony when they met. After all, she did not tell her that she'd taken part in Exposure did she ?

Let's take a closer look at Miss G shall we ? Here's what she told the Police in 2008. Her taped interview was made available to levitt

Now, according to Levitt, Fiona is one of the FOUR 'alleged victims' of Savile.

I cannot understand why no one bothered to ask Fiona how old she was at the time. Ms Levitt however concludes

'G' describes some story about hand jobs that become blow jobs depending on whom she's speaking to. Then comes the LIE and my question : why was she allowed to get away with this ?

Fiona was not very forthcoming about her age at the time of the alleged incident, with the cops in July 2008. The Operation Ornament report into the Police investigation sheds more light on WHICH year Miss D, as she is known here, attended Duncroft

Strangely enough, Fiona (Miss D) was a late comer to the Police investigation. She was the last to be interviewed and she was found on friends reunited !

IN credible witnesses

One of the myths perpetrated by Jones post shit hitting fan, was that his 'investigation' had unearthed information unknown to the Police in 2007/09. 

 There appears to have been a misunderstanding or a breakdown in communication between Jones and his editor in terms of who had spoken to the Police and who had not. Certainly Karin had not ! So who had ? Lets look at the diagram again

No sign of Karin there but why is 3 there ? This can only be R3 Rochelle. Could she have been someone who spoke to the cops in 2007/09 and, if so, why ?
Then there's the question as to how the Police investigation originated in the first place. NOT from someone at Duncroft but allegedly from a SISTER of someone from Duncroft. Small world isn't it ?

Back to Pollard and his questioning of Liz MacKean about who contacted who

Someone contacted the Police, singular. The Police then sought out others who might be able to assist them with their enquiries. But the boys were not going to just accept any old codswallop in 2007, they wanted their complainants to provide proof, corroboration BEFORE they would take further action. In short, they did the right thing !

The complainant didn't like the sound of that and was off but not before she contacted her contact at the SUN ! 

 Just 14 women were spoken to by the Police. Out of these four would not support a formal investigation, the remaining ten

Liz Macken knew some of her claimants were dodgy. Jones must have know the same. After all she knew the letter was phony. They BOTH knew that a NUMBER of the women said that they had SEEN this letter. Pollard is spot on here with his observations is he not ?

You might want to read the 'transcript of a conversation with R2' sent by Hannah to Jones early on. Fiona certainly knows how to tell 'em doesn't she ? 

The Mirror ? Would that be the 1994 story by any chance ? Not to be outdone by R6 and her alleged contact in the press

But, none of these women were collaborating were they Liz ? Were they Ms Levitt ? Were they ?
Strangely enough, R6 appears to have NO LINKS with Duncroft according to Jones' diagram that is. I leave you to ponder that one !

 

One 'victim' and Rochelle

Jones only ever had ONE 'victim' willing to speak on camera about her days at Duncroft : Karin Ward R1. He knew he needed more and set about finding others who would 'corroborate' her story. Fiona fake letter R2 could not because she was not there at the same time as Karin. But then, neither was Rochelle.
Fiona's credibility was in question. Despite Hannah's 'most sorted' label, Liz and Mei were obviously not convinced. Fiona would NOT, be their 'main witness'

Remember, he's speaking after the fact. Is he putting words in Karin's mouth ? Was she really that angry with the BBC at the time ?

Indeed, Jones draws up a diagram to show how, others will corroborate Karin's story

Try as I might, I can't see R2 anywhere in this. Note the date, December 5th 2011. This is the sum total of Jones' case against Jimmy Savile. Woman 3 will be R3, Shepherd 

Then he tells Pollard that his boss, Rippon had showed little interest in the project. Indeed, he states that PR hadn't even seen the filmed interviews.

Karin we are told was NOT involved in the 2007/09 Police investigation. But, Jones was not interested in that investigation outside confirming that there had been one. This is where MWT comes in, he never met ANY of Jones' women in 2011. His role was to establish whether an investigation had actually taken place. 

In other words, the mere fact that an investigation had taken place was enough for this award winning journalist to destroy a good man's name. He brazenly admits this 

That was his 'real story' a Police investigation that went nowhere. Jones couldn't wait to get his little project off the ground. He wanted to get in there first

In response to Misa's comment I went back to the diagram. R2 is in there, I was so tired I did not think to go back to see if I could get a clearer picture. But here it is, make of it what you will. The point stands that Jones still only had Karin and Rochelle willing to go on camera. But, the diagram is useful in other ways. To be continued

Karin, Fiona and Rochelle !

Or, as they are known in the Pollard Report : 'R1', 'R2' and 'R3' ! I've spent many hours burrowing into the various statements, and perserverance brought me this little gem.

 Fiona (fake letter) 'suggested' Jones' trainee investigator speak to Rochelle Shepherd. Now, why would she do that ? Could it be because they attended Duncroft at the same time ? Remember that by this stage in the hunt for 'victims', Jones only has ONE; R1, Karin Ward. But, let's go back to the contents of the above email sent to Jones on November 8th 2011. It's in APP 12 page 22 and R2 provides a hell of alot of information about quite a few ex Duncrofter's !

Funnily enough, Fiona was never interviewed on camera by Jones' team. It is Rochelle Shepherd (R3) who is keen to share her experiences of Duncroft, none of which involved Jimmy Savile at all ! 
It is Shepherd who becomes the focus for media attention of the type Jones did not like. He's accused of editing her interview to protect his aunt. Clearly nonsense but, where is the film ? Was Rochelle's full interview in the 'rushes' ? Indeed, was a finished film even made at the time ? Not according to Peter Rippon

It would help if we could see the WHOLE darned film would it not ? It's not even clear from Pollard if he's even seen it !

Frustrating isn't it ? And, was Rochelle even at Duncroft ? Here's a comment from someone who was there albeit a decade earlier !

 I don't know whether this person was, but he/she seems to know something about Ms Shepherd

 So, Fiona R2 knew Rochelle R3 going so far as suggesting that Hannah Livingstone, contacts her. Mr Jones has some more explaining to do. I'm not finished with him or his bloody film yet. But I'm having a few days off, this easter bunny needs a rest
