£1.5K for you, £14K for me !

Yesterday came the news that THREE compo claims have been paid out. These claims have cost the Savile estate* (correction, NHS) £58,625, most of which will go to ... the lawyers !

The article isn't just about Jimmy Savile's alleged, unproven 'abuse' though is it ? Indeed, we are told that the NHS has paid out £12,000,000 since 1996

More and more people are now making such claims. In 14 years, >HALF were made in one year - 2013/14. Ms Dux tells us there will be more 

 BUT, what I really want to know, and I doubt Ms Dux will tell me, is : What was that £58,625 paid for ? The THREE claimants got just £18,125 but the claims themselves, what were they worth individually ? In other words, what was Jimmy alleged to have done ? 

NOW, here's were some heads will explode, cos it's back to that bloody scheme wherein EIGHT CATEGORIES of claim were introduced ! Problem is, we are only told TWO of these 

Then, there's the 'costs' allowable ! Same page 

We know that a cap was set at £60,000 per claim, for the most serious cases (alleged rape). And, presumably £1500 will be allowed for 'touching over clothing'. But what of the others ?

The THREE claimants sharing £18,125 we were TOLD about YESTERDAY, were, according to the Mail, paid in December 2014. I haven't read the Sun article. I cannot because one has to pay to read and, well you know the rest ! 

£42,000 divided by 3 = £14,000 and that is the amount Ms Dux etc will get PER CLAIMANT ... stop me if you heard this one before ! 

*Addendum  

I've been informed that the three payments made came from the NHS not the Savile estate. No monies can be paid from the latter until Justice Sales approves claims, as per the High Court Judgement in December 2014. I have no idea which NHS Trust paid the £58,625.

Dux slips up again !

Oh dear, you'd think that a solicitor would have more sense than to get into a controversial exchange on social media. Especially when that solicitor is the one handling MOST of the Savile compensation claims ! 

What else could ruin people's lives ? 

 'Read the report' ! A tad abrupt wouldn't ya say ? 

She became a little more forthcoming when another joined in the conversation !

I wonder'd how Dux could have had no access to the online report whilst chatting away, online ! So, I did the right thing and sent the questioner's a link to said report plus details of the 8 year old girl she CLAIMED had been assaulted by Savile in SMH in 1986 ! They were therefore armed with the appropriate question to ask BEFORE Dux made her final response !

So, that's clear then, it's a girl not a boy and it's 1986 and she's 8 ! Stop me if you think you may have heard this one before !

Curious, George and Dominic !

No let up ! Yesterday I came across George Carman's son, Dominic again ! Because of this !

 I have a copy of Dominic's book published after his father's death, so I looked him up again. And, there he was, on twitter. I included his twitter handle in my next tweet and he replied within a few minutes !

OK, we've been down this street before. But, I wondered why he had popped up again and then I realised, he'd been advertising the latest Savile TV show broadcast on Ch5 again on Thursday night ! Even more 'curious' for me that is, is the fact he did this in reply to a tweet made TWO YEARS earlier !

'Further light' ? Has the show been  updated ? I wouldn't know because I haven't and, will NOT be watching it. But then, I didn't need to, did I ? because, just the day before, Dom had this 'con' (meirion jones speak for conversation) !

Hard to follow these 'con's' so bear with me !

 What ? Is Dominic saying that his father may have believed the person he represented at the time, may well have been a child abuser or worse ? Maybe I need to watch this program if this is what he's inferring. I stress the word 'IF' because Mr Carman Q.C represented a number of people against malicious press stories, some of whom are very much alive today. 
But, getting back to FACTS, I came across this interesting little blog whilst burrowing for more on what George MAY have said to Dominic !

Pretend you're not asleep !

Now that we know something about the 55 alleged 'victims' as described in the recent report, I thought I'd go a looking to see if I might find this person in there !

As you can see, Mr Rose wrote this article in November 2014. By this time ALL those seeking compensation from Savile's estate, had their claims in. They had no choice, because all 'scheme' claims had to be in by June 2014

Leigh Day Solicitors stated that all claims to the scheme were time-limited

So, what of that 'questionable' claim Mr Rose spoke of ? Is this woman one of the 55 listed in the latest SMH report ? There is only ONE ex-patient whose description has any similarities, in that :
1) She had cancer
2) She formed a sort of friendship with Jimmy. Here's 'victim 54' 

 

 Let me make this quite clear ! I have no idea IF this alleged 'victim' is the same person referred to in the Rose article. We don't KNOW if 'victim 54' is one of the 44 Ms Dux is described as 'representing' hours before the report is published ! 

It seems strange that Ms lampard's team did not investigate 'victim 54's history further. After all, her story appears unique in Savile abuse terms. He, we are told, had 'genuine feelings of affection' for V54. Goodness, gracious, the beast appears capable of genuine human warmth.
Whatever next ? Who knows ? We don't because we are not being told the full story are we. But, then the claimants MUST be believed and their identity MUST be kept secret. Because anyone REVEALING identities of any alleged victim of sexual assault etc will be subject to the full weight of the law !

Thing is, how do we know what is TRUE and WHAT is not ? How do we know these 55 alleged 'victims' told Lampard the truth ? Same way we know, WHO made those 'questionable' claims, Mr Rose referred to - WE DON'T ! 
We don't, so WE had better keeps our mouths shut if we know what's good for us. We had better NOT spread 'untruths on twitter' either. Because ... if we DO ...

Remember this ? It's a story that was published on October 10th 2012. We are introduced to one, Caroline Moore who claims to have been approached by Savile as she sat in her wheelchair in a corridor in SMH. She was 13 at the time and it was 1971 and, whilst she told friends, no indication is made that she told anyone at the hospital, at the time !

Caroline became an almost overnight sensation when her tale was told. Two days later, she and another overnight sensation, Steven George, were taking up space on the ITV this morning sofa.

Caroline and Steven became the poster girls of the Savile NHS scandal. It seemed everywhere you looked, they were there. I've spent quite enough time already on Steven nee Alison. Time to look a bit more closely at Caroline who was 13 and, in SMH in 1971.
Back in October 2012, I didn't take much notice of Caroline's yarn. Her encounter with Savile appeared so, well UNIMPORTANT ! Had she been raped ? No ! Had she been pinned up against a wall, NO ! Was she in bed, defenseless as the beast placed his hands upon her ? NO ! She was in her wheelchair in a corridor and it was 1971 and she was 13 and 

OK, hardly appropriate behaviour from a complete stranger in a hospital ward. BUT hardly the News of The World stuff either. Time to see how Ms Moore's story has been detailed in Lampards report this week. It's changed a bit if she is 'VICTIM 5' which I can only assume she is !

 She tells the team she was 13 years old and this was 1972 not 1971. Goodness, it's even narrowed down to a 3 month time period. How has this happened, Ms lampard ? Did someone find Ms Moore's notes ? And WHY is she not named, it's not as if she craves anonymity is it ?
Oh, and then there's the person she claims to have REPORTED THIS TOO ! What ?

Of course, this new version of Moore's tale fits perfectly in the narrative, behind the story. That the managers at these hospitals knew full well what was going on but chose to ignore it. Moore was talking to the folks at ITV just BEFORE this reports were published. As was the whole of the Slater Gordon UK operation by the looks of it.

Oops, there's that 1971 thing again. Obviously ITV was not privy to the sort of information certain other folks would be. I have no idea if Moore is one of Ms Dux' claimants, and really, I couldn't care less. She's welcome to the £500 or whatever is the going rate for a french kiss in personal injury terms, these days.
So long as it's not coming out of MY POCKET that is ! Because, here's another slip up Ms Moore made back in October 2012. This time she's spilling to Sky News and this time she says that she DIDN'T report the incident to the SMH staff.

WHY didn't Lampard's crew check Moore's story ? How the fuck are these people claimed to be 'victims' when they are NO SUCH THING ?

Watch out watch out; Jimmy's about

Goodness Gracious, those 358 pages have their moments. And no more so than this interesting 'finding' on page 105 from w52 described as a 'nurse on the NSIC during this period' (1995)

What a difference twenty years make eh ? 
Anyways, let's go back a bit shall we ? Because it seems that there was a LOT of sex going on in hospitals during Savile's time. 
From someone who worked at the rheumatology dept early 1980's (P90)

'would have been reported' eh ? Indeed, bring on Margaret Harrison who sounds like someone NO ONE would mess with

She's described as Director of Nursing 1986-1993 and she explains the complaints procedure in place at the time.

And then we come to the Matron of the Children's ward who had worked at SMH since 1983. Another lady NOT to be messed with P115. Note she is describing the new security arrangements introduced in 2004 on the kids' wards, access keys one of which Savile was NOT given.

But, there were no sinister reasons for this denial to Sir Jimmy. The woman clearly did not like Jimmy but not because she'd heard anything !

Emm, let's just stop there for a moment shall we and look at one of the CONCLUSIONS Ms Lampard came to on Page 145

 'Unchallenged ? That's not the way I'm reading things Madam. But, I'm not finished yet am I ? Next time, I'll tell you about Jimmy's living arrangements at the hospital. Amongst other things that is !
